Application of thermal insulation on the steam pipe (wagon defroster) BRONYA ANTIKOR + BRONYA CLASSIC. From the outside, we measured the temperature on the steam pipe at +250 °C. To prevent the heating of the steam pipe and to reduce the external temperature, it was necessary to apply 1mm of BRONYA ANTIKOR, 2.5mm of BRONYA CLASSIC + 120g of geotextile. After application, we measured the temperature at 46°C. Subsequently, a fireproof coating BRONYA FIREPROTECTION was applied to prevent the outbreak of fire, as conventional insulation using glass wool had already been insufficient and was causing fires, i.e., did not meet the strict insulation conditions.
